Riddle Me This- August Dishcloth

Riddle Me This- August Dishcloth

Handmade dishcloths, I love to knit them, I love to use them, I love to gift them.  I am so very pleased to host this mystery pattern KAL designed by “The Queen”.  Let me just say, she has out done herself, you are going to be so thrilled with her designs!

How it works –

Come back to THIS post everyday through August, and I’ll add aditional rows  to the pattern.  Don’t worry if you miss a day, I will just add the rows, never remove them.  Most days I’ll add 2 rows, but I may throw in a few more, you never know!

Use any worsted weight cotton yarn you like, (but a solid color will show up the design better).

Knit so that you create a ‘firm’ fabric, to really show off the relief stitches.  For most of you, this will be a size 7 needle.

Just for fun, if/when you have a guess as to the design leave a comment, the FIRST person to guess correctly will win a prize from The Quarter Stitch!

HERE WE GO!  Good Luck!

I’ve been reading all your comments and have had as much fun as I would knitting the dish cloth. So glad you are all enjoying the KAL. I didn’t start this one because I find myself bogged down with a shawl that refuses to grow – or seems to refuse at least. Next month I will be “in” no matter what though – it’s no fun m issing out on the fun. Claire – super job !! Please tell Gran and your Mom I’m sending my best wishes.
