Good Work

Good Work

The other day I was out for a long run, on an unseasonably warm, muggy day.  As I rounded the corner for home, a UPS truck zipped by me and stopped.  I was plugging along, ready to be done, when the driver hopped out to deliver a package.  “Keep up the good work, girl!  Keep up the good work!”, he called out good-naturedly.  I smiled, waved, threw back my shoulders and sprinted the rest of the way home.

For the kids' room except make it with "strength to the bones".

Isn’t it amazing how a kind word can raise your spirits?  Motivate you to keep going, even when you are weary?  I had planned to sum up my October To’do List with a post about all I’d finished and what I didn’t, (complete with excuses).  And if your interested you can go back and read all about it, use the search 31 Days in the search bar.

Totally! I was excited because today I was able to put away the clean dishes from the dishwasher. Couldn't stand to refill it, but I've wanted to put away those dishes for four days & couldn't. Tiny things are big deals now.

But instead I’d like to say,

Thanks, to all of you who’ve follow along.  Knowing I had to write something every night, kept me from procrastinating!  Seeing all the hits the posts were getting everyday kept me going!

Thanks, to those of you who commented, both online and in person, your kind words are more encouragement then you’ll ever know!

Thanks, to those of you who have shared all the things that you accomplished in October, you are so inspiring!  Way to go!

Thanks, to my amazingly supportive Husband and Kids!  For living in a mess part of the time, for giving me time to write, for helping with projects, and for lifting my spirits when I got overwhelmed.

I am Blessed beyond measure.  And I pray that one day I could, in some way, repay all of the encouragement, love and support to each and every one of  YOU!

THANK YOU & I LOVE YOU & I want nothing in return... :) <3

It is lovely to hear that you have accomplished so much, but from my point of view, no thanks are needed for the comments left, etc. If people like myself had not wanted to leave them, they would have done other wise……..there was a reason for them being left, and that is because YOU are such a special and inspiring lady. As for repayment of support or any other such thing, Claire, my dear, you do that just by being you, and by posting your blog every day for ladies like myself to read. Not to mention the patterns to follow along with. You are truly a very special, unique, and very talented lady. Mr. Fixit is indeed very lucky to have such a lady in his life, and I am sure he and the children understand when you are busy with a project. You just stay positive, and keep that blog alive with your sunny nature!!! You are one in a million!!!
