Crafting with Caroline part Deux

Crafting with Caroline part Deux

Hey Guys!!  It’s Caroline again!  Today I’m going to show all y’all how to make flower jewelry out of polymer clay.  This is a very simple project!  I really enjoy working with polymer clay because it is very forgiving and you can make anything you can think of.  I hope you guys enjoy!  These flowers are made with molds we bought, but you can make flowers by hand too!

Your materials for a molded flower are:

  • polymer clay -(this is an oven bake clay that never dries out) I use Sculpy brand and it comes in a HUGE variety of colors.  You can also blend the colors to make custom colors or swirls.
  • craft blade
  • oven – to bake your clay of course!
  • flower  mold – I bought mine at (there are many to choose from and they are pretty inexpensive)
  • glue – super or e6000
  • your findings for a ring, a bracelet, or a  necklace
  • P1010171

To make the flower, work a small piece of clay with your hands to condition it.  Next firmly press the clay into the mold.

Using your craft blade remove all excess clay from the top of the mold.

Carefully pop out the clay from mold and….

Voila, you have a clay flower!

Now, bake according to the instructions on the clay packaging.

To turn your pretty flower into jewelry simply glue the flat side onto your finding!

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you have a lovely rest of your day and I will see y’all soon!
