Busy Break

Busy Break

It’s spring break here this week, and it is flying by!  I have finished a couple of projects though!

The Winter’s Moon shawl, that I started last week.  Here is how it looked unblocked.

And blocked.  This shawl was so much fun to knit, I enjoyed every stitch!  Wonderful pattern, great yarn, Misti Alpaca Tonos Carnival.

And I blocked and finished the Linum Tee, even with the 30 missing stitches.  It worked out fine, fits great, a happy accident!

I enjoyed knitting the fisherman’s rib on the top of that tee so much, I’ve started a summer blanket using that stitch in a bright golden-yellow, Rowan Lima.   (This picture is dark.)

I hope you are enjoying your week!  Ours has been busy and fun, but I won’t be sad when the kids go back to school on Monday!

If you hadn’t said anything no one would have known that you had missed a few stitches. Good save. I love how you used the fisherman’s rib for a blanket it is going to be gorgeous. It will soon be the end of the school year. Time for summer camp, swimming classes and headache medicines. I loved having my girls around in the holidays but there would be times when I just wanted to be alone. Hope you had a great Easter. It is a good time to hit the reset button the other is Christmas.
